“Sometimes” things do not go quite as planned. When you are living your life for the Lord, a “plan” doesn´t really exist at all. None of us planned to get sick, and none of us planned to get injured. But, there is this little thing that runs around called Satan, he tries to discourage you and tries to push you to a point where you don´t think you can stand any longer. But, when you live your life for the Lord, you can have complete confidence in the fact that these attacks, are nothing and we will not go down without a fight. This past week sure has been rough, the attacks have been strong… very strong. As a team, we are not at all discouraged by this, if anything, we are a tad bit stronger from it. With some seriously intense sunburn on some of us, a few stomach infections here or there, a sliced open hand, a nearly broken foot, a lot of sneezing, and something a tad more serious, Satan sure is trying. We won´t allow him to have ANY leverage, for we serve a great, great God who continues to encourage us even in the worst time. Regardless of all the pain and illness, it is absolutely wonderful here, so much joy in the faces of these teenage boys I have been working with. An absolute love for futbol is just kind of inevitable, learning to be a better player is kinda difficult, but so worth it. There isn´t much I would want to be doing at this moment in my life other than this. So much joy and so much to learn yet, but it is so worth working towards. So much more to come on this beautiful adventure that God has us all on right now, once we continue to recover! So, whether its stomach, leg, foot, head, hand, or heart, we will not go down without a fight. Please, please continue to pray for my team and I, they are so appreciated, and are very evident.
So what have you been challenged with lately?
